Hargeisa (Horn post) The Chairman of Somaliland’s opposition KAAH Party, Mahmoud Hashi Abdi, has strongly condemned Iran’s recent strikes targeting Gulf Arab countries.
In a press statement, Abdi described the attacks on the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia as acts of aggression and a clear violation of international law and the principles that protect state sovereignty.
Mahmoud Hashi Abdi expressed particular concern over the threat posed to civilians and urban areas, noting that the impact of the attacks was significantly reduced due to successful interceptions. Abdi stated that Iran has no legitimate justification to attack neighboring countries with which it is not at war, warning that such actions risk expanding the conflict and escalating regional tensions.
The KAAH Party leader also extended solidarity and prayers to civilian populations across the Middle East, calling for their protection during what he described as a sensitive and challenging period for the region.
