Hargeisa (hornpost.com/) The Vice-President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Mohamed Ali Aw Abdi, today officially launched the registration of the government transport book that started in the country.
The purpose of this registration is to count and register all government vehicles, and it will last for a month, covering all regions of Somaliland.
In the opening ceremony of the registration of the government transport book, the vice president was attended by the minister of the Ministry of Transport and Road Development, Mr. Osman Ibrahim (Afgaab) and he spoke about the importance of his minister of government transport to serve the people of Somaliland.
The Director General of the Presidency, Mr. Munir Ahmed Igaal, the Director General of the Ministry of Transport and Road Development, Mr. Eng Ahmed Muhamed Abdi, the Director of the Department of Transport and Technology and the Director of the Census Department, all testified to the importance of the government in protecting the transport of various services Somaliland people.
A large number of workers have been prepared by the Ministry of Transport for the Registration process and it will be led by the Deputy Director of the Department of Transport Books and Registration Abdisis Mohamed Jama.
