HARGEISA, Somaliland (Horn Post) — The Somaliland Police Force has congratulated seven officers who graduated Friday from the second-level academic program at the Ethiopian Police University in Sandafa, Ethiopia.
The graduation ceremony was attended by Somaliland Police Deputy Commander Brig. Gen. Cabdi Axmed Tiir and a delegation of senior police officials, including the Deputy Head of Training and the Commandant of the Officers College.
The Somaliland Police leadership praised the graduates for their dedication, professionalism and academic achievement during the two-year training program, describing their success as a reflection of discipline, resilience and commitment to national service.
Officials said the advanced training is expected to strengthen the institutional capacity and professional development of the Somaliland Police Force.
The police command also expressed confidence that the officers will use their newly acquired skills and expertise to contribute to public security, institutional reform and the modernization of Somaliland’s police services.
The graduation comes as Somaliland continues efforts to enhance security cooperation and professional training for its law enforcement institutions across the Horn of Africa region.
