ABU DHABI – (Horn post) UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Tuesday held talks with His Excellency Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, focusing on bilateral relations and key regional developments, according to the UAE’s national news agency. The meeting took place in Abu Dhabi during President El-Sisi’s fraternal visit to the United Arab Emirates. Discussions reviewed longstanding fraternal ties and cooperation across multiple sectors, with an emphasis on priority areas that support the development goals and long-term visions of both countries. The two leaders also exchanged views on a range of regional and international issues of mutual concern, including ongoing developments in the Middle East. They underscored the importance of advancing the implementation of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip and ensuring the unhindered entry of sufficient humanitarian aid to alleviate the suffering of civilians. Both sides stressed the need to make progress toward a just and comprehensive peace based on the two-state solution, in a manner that contributes to regional security and stability. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and President El-Sisi reaffirmed their commitment to continued consultation and close coordination in support of peace and stability across the region, as well as efforts aimed at promoting development and prosperity for their peoples. As part of his visit, President El-Sisi toured the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence, accompanied by the UAE President. He was briefed on the university’s facilities, academic programs, and its advancements in artificial intelligence and advanced technologies that align with the UAE’s development objectives and long-term vision. President El-Sisi later departed Abu Dhabi from the Presidential Airport, where he was seen off by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; His Excellency Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamdan bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President; along with several sheikhs, ministers, and senior officials.
