HARGEISA (Horn Post) — The President of Somaliland has returned home following an official working visit to the United Arab Emirates.
President of the Republic of Somaliland, Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi (Irro), arrived back in the country on Tuesday after attending the World Governments Summit held in Dubai, UAE.
This marked the second consecutive time that President Irro participated in the World Governments Summit, an event regarded as having significant strategic importance for Somaliland. The summit provided a platform for engagement on key issues, particularly in the areas of diplomacy, investment, security cooperation, and the development of economic infrastructure.
Officials said the president’s participation reflects Somaliland’s efforts to strengthen international engagement and explore opportunities for cooperation with global partners.
