Hargeisa (Hornpost) The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Dr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi (Cirro), today received international delegations from Somaliland’s friendly countries at the Presidential Center of the Republic of Somaliland, who came to participate in the commemoration of the 34th anniversary of the day of reunification the return of Nationalism and Independence of the Republic of Somaliland.
These delegates came from the United Kingdom, UAE, Kenya, Djibouti, Nigeria and the Somali Regional Government of Ethiopia (DDSI), who showed their support to the people and the Government of the Republic of Somaliland.
The President thanked the delegates for their honorable participation in the May 18 commemoration event, noting that Somaliland greatly appreciates the friendly relations and cooperation it has with the international community, especially the countries where the delegates were going on.
Also, the President had a special meeting with the famous football player Kanu Nwankwo who used to line up for the Nigerian national team and Arsenal and Inter Milan who was one of the guests of honor who attended the commemoration on the 18th. – May Anniversary
