
MOGADISHU (Horn post) President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of the Federal Republic of Somalia hosted foreign ambassadors and representatives of international organizations at the Presidential Palace in Mogadishu.
During the meeting, President Hassan briefed the envoys on the government’s achievements in cooperation with Somali citizens, including improvements in security, preparations for direct elections, counterterrorism efforts, drought relief, and initiatives to strengthen national unity.
The President expressed gratitude to the diplomats for their continued support in rebuilding governance, enhancing security, and promoting Somalia’s economic growth. He emphasized that the government remains committed to deepening international cooperation based on mutual respect and shared interests.
