Mogadishu (hornpost.com/) The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, received credentials from new ambassadors who joined the diplomats working in our country.
The ambassadors that the President received the credentials from are:
- Amb. Abdirahman Khalil Ahmed – the new Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan
- Amb. Rowaid Adil Mohamed – New Ambassador to Palestine
- Amb. Morakot Janemathukorn – New Ambassador to Thailand
- Amb. Bernard Yohana Kibesse – New Ambassador to Tanzania
- Amb. Ana Filomena da Costa Rocha – New Ambassador to Portugal
- Amb. Martin K. NGO – New Ambassador to Rwanda
- Amb. Mahi Boumediene – New Ambassador to Algeria
- Amb. Matsuura Hiroshi – New Ambassador to Japan.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud noted the importance of strengthening Somalia’s bilateral relations with the countries where these ambassadors are located, in order to strengthen diplomatic, economic, development and security cooperation.
The ambassadors who received the letters thanked the President and the government of Somalia for the warm welcome, presenting their commitment to make efforts to improve the relations between their countries and Somalia.
