Hargeisa (Horn post) Two of Iran’s most powerful security figures have been confirmed killed in recent US and Israeli military strikes inside Iran, according to Al Jazeera.
Those killed include Ali Shamkhani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Defense Council and a key figure within Iran’s ruling establishment, and Mohammad Pakpour, the commander-in-chief of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
The deaths mark a major blow to Iran’s military and security leadership and signal a significant escalation in the conflict involving Iran, the United States, and Israel. Analysts warn the developments could further intensify instability across the Middle East.
