
HARGEISA, Somaliland (Horn post) Abdirahman Abdillahi Hassan, commander of the Somaliland Police Force, on Tuesday chaired the force’s weekly senior officers meeting, focusing on strengthening nationwide security during the Eid al-Adha holiday celebrations.
The meeting reviewed security preparations and operational plans aimed at maintaining public safety and stability throughout the Eid festivities across Somaliland.
Police commanders and division heads presented reports on measures being implemented to safeguard communities and ensure peaceful celebrations during the holiday period.
The police chief urged officers to intensify security operations and continue serving the public effectively so citizens across Somaliland can celebrate Eid in a safe and secure environment.
The session was also attended by Somaliland Deputy Police Commander Abdi Ahmed Tiir.
