
HARGEISA, Somaliland (Horn post) The Minister of Interior and Security of the Republic of Somaliland HE Abdale Mohamed Arab Sandhere has congratulated Arsenal F.C. after the London club secured the 2026 English Premier League title, praising the team’s determination, patience, and consistency throughout the season.
Speaking in Hargeisa, the Somaliland Interior and Security Minister said Arsenal’s success was the result of “hard work, resilience, and sustained performance,” adding that the club deserved recognition for its achievements this season.
Sandhere extended special congratulations to Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and his squad following the club’s long-awaited league victory.
The minister is among several prominent African political figures known for publicly supporting Arsenal, one of the world’s most widely followed football clubs.
