Hargeisa (hornpost.com/) The 006th session of the meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Somaliland, which was chaired by the President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi Cirro, accompanied by the Vice President of Somaliland, Mr. Mohamed Ali Aw Abdi, approved the national budget estimate for the year 2025.
The meeting of the Somaliland Cabinet of Ministers which was held on Thursday at the Presidential Palace of the Republic of Somaliland, the agenda that was discussed before the Cabinet of Ministers was limited only to the presentation and approval of the National Budget Estimates for the year 2025.
The Minister of Finance and Economic Development has presented the Cabinet with details related to the structure of the 2025 budget, which consists of four parts:-
- Central Government Budget
- The budget Independent Institutions
- The budget Local Governments and
- The budget Projects Undertaken by International Providers Help us

The President of the Republic of Somaliland told the Council of Ministers that the Ministry of Finance should be assisted in collecting taxes and increasing the income of our country. Those who earn income are instructed to directly transfer that income to the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development of the country.
After a long discussion and analysis related to the 2025 Budget Estimate, the President proposed to the Council of Ministers to vote on the 2025 Budget Estimate proposal.
At the meeting of the Council of Ministers with 43 members, they all voted confidently for the approval of the 2025 budget estimate, without any objection or silence.
After that, the 2025 budget estimate will be submitted to the House of Representatives of the Republic of Somaliland to fulfill their legal obligations.
