Washington, D.C. (Hornpost) The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, attended a state dinner hosted by U.S. President Donald Trump in honor of world leaders participating in the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The reception brought together heads of state and government from across the globe, providing an opportunity for high-level engagement and diplomatic exchange on the sidelines of the NGA. President Mohamud’s participation underscored Somalia’s active role in international forums and its commitment to strengthening ties with global partners.

During the visit, the President inspected the embassy’s service departments and offices of senior officials. He was briefed on the services provided to Somali citizens in the United States and commended the diplomats and staff for their dedication and the quality of work they deliver on behalf of the nation.
