
HARGEISA, Somaliland (Horn post) Mahmoud Hashi Abdi, chairman of Somaliland’s KAAH political party, has extended Eid al-Adha greetings and congratulations to Muslims worldwide, particularly the people of Somaliland.
In his Eid message, Mahmoud Hashi prayed for Allah to accept the good deeds and fasting of the Muslim community and wished Somalilanders a joyful and blessed celebration.
The KAAH chairman also urged citizens to show compassion, solidarity and mutual support during the holiday by sharing the joy of Eid with one another and caring for vulnerable members of society.
“I congratulate the entire Muslim community, especially the valued people of Somaliland, on the occasion of Eid al-Adha,” he said in the statement.
Eid al-Adha is one of the holiest celebrations in Islam and is marked by prayers, charity and gatherings among families and communities across the world.
