Hargeisa (Hornpost) The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi (Irro) and the delegation he led on a business trip to Kenya, returned to the country today. The President and his delegation were welcomed at Cigaal International Airport by the Vice President of the Republic of Somaliland Mr. Mohamed Ali Aw Abdi, Ministers, Military Commanders and other officials.
When the President and his delegation returned to the country, they were welcomed at the Presidential Palace by the Speakers of both Houses, MPs, members of the Council of Ministers, traditional leaders, businessmen, women and other dignitaries.
The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi (Irro), who spoke to the people, underlined that the trip to Nairobi where they were guests of the President of Kenya, has resulted in a great historical victory, which has raised the status of Somaliland. At the same time, they have found a space to present to the rest of the world the development, governance and democracy that Somaliland has not taken away.
