During the dinner meeting and networking session, President Irroand members of his delegation presented what officials described as Somaliland’s expanding economic potential, highlighting major investment opportunities across strategic sectors including livestock, agriculture, fisheries, mining, energy, oil exploration, blue economy industries, and critical infrastructure development.

The Somaliland leader placed particular emphasis on the country’s long-standing record of security, political stability, and favorable geographic position along one of the world’s most strategic maritime corridors, presenting Somaliland as an emerging gateway for regional investment in the Horn of Africa.

President Irro also showcased Somaliland’s abundant natural resources and pointed to government policies and legal frameworks designed to encourage and protect foreign direct investment.

The meeting focused on strengthening economic cooperation, trade partnerships, and long-term investment relations between Somaliland and Israel, while creating practical business opportunities capable of generating mutual benefits for both sides.

Addressing Israeli business leaders directly, President Irro encouraged investors to explore Somaliland’s rapidly growing market and untapped economic sectors.

“Somaliland is ready for partnerships built on trust, shared interests, and a common vision for sustainable economic growth,” President Irro told the gathering.

Analysts say the meeting signals Somaliland’s growing effort to position itself as an attractive investment destination while deepening economic and strategic ties with Israel during what has become one of the most significant diplomatic visits in Somaliland’s recent international outreach.
