
HARGEISA, Somaliland (Horn post) — Minister of Interior and Security of the Republic of Somaliland H.E Abdalle Mohamed Carab, together with the Commander of the Somaliland Police Force, Major General Cabdi Cabdilaahi Xasan (Cabdi-Dheere), on Monday received police officers who recently returned from a two-year training program in Ethiopia.
The officers had been studying and undergoing professional security training aimed at strengthening policing skills, operational capacity, and modern law enforcement practices.
During the reception in Hargeisa, the Interior Minister and the Police Commander commended the officers for their dedication, discipline, and resilience throughout the training period.
They urged the returning officers to apply the knowledge, experience, and technical skills they acquired abroad to improve policing standards and enhance public safety in Somaliland.
The officials also emphasized the importance of translating international training into practical improvements within the national police service and serving the public with professionalism and accountability.
