Jerusalem — (Horn post) Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Israel this week for a high-level diplomatic meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, culminating in the signing of several agreements aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation.
The agreements, announced jointly by the Prime Minister’s Office of India and the Prime Minister’s Office of Israel, cover key sectors including:
- Water management: Enhanced collaboration on water conservation technologies and sustainable irrigation systems.
- Agriculture: Partnerships for advanced agricultural practices, crop management, and food security solutions.
- Technology and innovation: Cooperation in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital infrastructure.
- Scientific research: Joint projects in research and development across multiple disciplines.
According to official statements, both leaders emphasized the “full spectrum” of India–Israel relations, highlighting the visit as a step toward deepening strategic, economic, and technological ties. Prime Minister Netanyahu described the meeting as a reflection of “true friendship” between the two countries, while Prime Minister Modi underlined the importance of continued collaboration in development-focused sectors.
